Senior Quality Assurance Associate
Location: Central New Jersey (Hybrid Schedule)
Type: Direct Hire

Overview
An established company operating within the regulated food and nutrition sector is seeking a skilled Senior Quality Assurance Associate to support ongoing quality and compliance efforts. This is a hands-on role focused on maintaining product quality and regulatory standards across multiple areas of the business.

Position Summary
The Senior QA Associate will be responsible for supporting daily quality operations, including documentation review, supplier qualification, and cross-department collaboration. The role plays a key part in maintaining system integrity, supporting compliance programs, and contributing to a high standard of operational quality.

Key Responsibilities

Review and verify supplier documentation, including specifications, SDSs, allergen/GMO declarations, and flow diagrams. Support supplier and product qualification activities in line with internal procedures and regulatory requirements. Monitor and document supplier changes and assist in managing change control processes. Respond to documentation inquiries and support product data alignment with customer needs. Verify testing completion and associated documentation prior to product release. Maintain organized records of quality and compliance documentation. Assist with tracking and coordination of product samples. Participate in broader quality initiatives and cross-functional projects as needed.


Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in a science-related field preferred, though not mandatory.

Experience: At least 3 years in a Quality Assurance role within a regulated industry, preferably involving food, dietary supplements, or nutraceuticals.

Certification: PCQI certification is a plus.

Skills & Competencies

Working knowledge of FDA regulations, including HACCP and related quality standards. Strong documentation and communication skills. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities. Capable of multitasking and managing responsibilities across teams. Familiarity with quality systems related to food ingredients or nutritional products is advantageous.
