JOB OBJECTIVE:
As a Quality Assurance Manager:
- Evaluates the execution and provide visibility and insight about Quality matters on products development, key bids and projects (Risk Driven Quality Assurance), according to Thales Management System (Chorus) and aplicable regulations (ISO, AQAP, EASA, …)
As an Engineering Quality Leader:
- Supports the development of the Engineering maturity (diagnostic, proposals for improvement, action plansfollow-up, problem solving, …)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides feedback about Quality risks, to support decision during Bids and Projects reviews
- Evaluates the execution of Products development / Bids and Projects management and provide visibility and insight about Quality matters
- Supports problem solving analysis and resolution
- Supports team in process tailoring
- Raise alerts when process performance is not adequate, supports action needed to restore required performance
- Supports teams in managing Customer Complaints and restoring customer satisfaction
- Is a quality referent in the engineering process (Solution, SW, HW) and practices to support its deployment / improvement
- Identify recurrent issues, drive and investigate root cause analysis and coordinate transversal improvements that contributes to the mid/long-term maturity growth of the organisation
- Contributes to the analysis of performance indicators, prevention, support, and capitalization
- Contributes to the deployment of new standards and regulations
- Support the external certifications and associated audits
-- Analyse the data resulting from audits, return and customer complaints, alert and veto right, to prevent the risks
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 7 years of Quality Assurance activities or senior experience in similar positions.
- Education/Qualifications University degree (Engineering or technical disciplines) or equivalent (Electronic is preferred).
- Experience in Quality in Engineering/Development teams (preferable within Electronics/ Aerospace context)

- Knowledge of Quality Plan/ Quality Inspection & Test Plan
- Quality Standards ISO 9001 / AS9100 and AQAP 2110 knowledge
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- IT tools (MS Office)
- Key attitudes: Good analytical and synthetic mind, ability to persuade on transversal topics (influence management), autonomous, rigorous, pragmatic, ability to stepping back in order to anticipate problems, capacity to work with multicultural teams
- Ability to speak fluently in English
