Quality Assurance Manager

Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Manager oversees the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality evaluation systems, control protocols, and inspection processes to ensure all products meet internal, customer, and regulatory standards. This role manages quality audits, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and ensures sustainable, repeatable, and measurable quality processes across the business unit.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Support plant and company safety initiatives.

Lead the development, modification, and maintenance of quality control systems in compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and government regulations.

Establish and implement methods for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.

Direct statistical analysis projects to identify and assign responsibility for nonconforming products or materials.

Oversee quality system audits, ensuring deficiencies are identified, corrective actions are implemented promptly, and results meet reliability and compliance standards.

Ensure documentation meets all customer and regulatory requirements.

Drive sustainable, measurable business process improvements and report program status to management.

Maintain site compliance with required agency certifications related to product and process quality (e.g., ISO 9001).

Lead upfront quality planning for new product introductions to ensure appropriate systems and processes are in place.

Share best practices with other Jabil facilities to promote standardization and excellence across the organization.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred (Engineering or Technology disciplines preferred).

Minimum of 10 years’ relevant quality assurance experience in manufacturing or a related industry, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and email applications.

Strong understanding of quality systems, auditing practices, and regulatory compliance (including ISO 9001).

Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.
