This role serves as a key liaison between Mansfield Mill personnel, IP Customer Technical Service (CTS), and strategic customers to address complaints and inquiries, discover root causes, and implement effective solutions. The manager leads the Quality/Environmental Lab, supervising fourteen employees and ensuring compliance with organizational goals and regulatory standards. Responsibilities include managing laboratory operations for chemical and physical testing, coordinating quality trials, maintaining lab equipment reliability, and administering the mill’s Proficy system. The role also involves collaborating with the Finished Products (FP) team, analyzing quality data, reporting metrics, and providing strategic direction to support product strategy and customer satisfaction. The position reports to the Mill Manager.
