Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to enhance and oversee quality assurance processes within our advanced manufacturing facility. The role involves leading a team of quality engineers, investigating customer defects, and ensuring mass production quality while achieving IATF registration.
ResponsibilitiesRevise and improve quality assurance processes.Investigate customer defects and prepare detailed reports.Develop and implement inspection plans.Achieve and maintain IATF registration.Ensure the maintenance of mass production quality standards.Manage and mentor a team of four quality engineers.Essential Skills5+ years experience in quality assurance and manufacturing.2+ years of leadership experience.Proficiency in quality engineering, particularly with complex parts like transmissions and automotive components.Experience working directly with OEMs and handling high-sensitivity issues with urgency.Additional Skills & QualificationsStrong mechanical engineering experience is an advantage.Experience working directly with stakeholders at the customer level.Proven ability to work in a cross-cultural environment.High mechanical aptitude and problem-solving mindset.Willingness to investigate the source of issues directly.Work Environment
Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility offers a dynamic work environment featuring a new gym, locker rooms, and showers. The cafeteria provides daily meals prepared by a chef, and the floor is equipped with robotics. The facility is air-conditioned, with a dress code requiring long sleeve shirts and pants (no jeans). Work involves a balance of desk and floor activities, with the possibility of switching daily. Benefits include 80 hours paid time upfront, recognition programs for employees and their families, company-provided soccer-type chairs, uniforms after 90 days, and a 401K match of 5% after six months.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
