Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager - NE San Antonio, TX Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to enhance and oversee quality assurance processes within our advanced manufacturing facility. The role involves leading a team of quality engineers, investigating customer defects, and ensuring mass production quality while achieving IATF registration. Responsibilities + Revise and improve quality assurance processes. + Investigate customer defects and prepare detailed reports. + Develop and implement inspection plans. + Achieve and maintain IATF registration. + Ensure the maintenance of mass production quality standards. + Manage and mentor a team of four quality engineers. Essential Skills + 5+ years experience in quality assurance and manufacturing. + 2+ years of leadership experience. + Proficiency in quality engineering, particularly with complex parts like transmissions and automotive components. + Experience working directly with OEMs and handling high-sensitivity issues with urgency. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Strong mechanical engineering experience is an advantage. + Experience working directly with stakeholders at the customer level. + Proven ability to work in a cross-cultural environment. + High mechanical aptitude and problem-solving mindset. + Willingness to investigate the source of issues directly. Work Environment Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility offers a dynamic work environment featuring a new gym, locker rooms, and showers. The cafeteria provides daily meals prepared by a chef, and the floor is equipped with robotics. The facility is air-conditioned, with a dress code requiring long sleeve shirts and pants (no jeans). Work involves a balance of desk and floor activities, with the possibility of switching daily.
