This position is located in the Duncan, Spartanburg area. We have been in operation for over 50 years and offer fantastic benefits and a stable work environment. How will you make a difference?

As a member of the WPT team and a Quality Assurance Coordinator you will be responsible for: Timeliness, accuracy, and schedule flexibility are crucial.  Minimal opportunities for remote work. To be successful in this position, the Quality Coordinator must constantly be looking for ways to streamline processes, while maintaining positive customer satisfaction.

Required to maintain flexibility in work schedule to accommodate business needs - hours may fluctuate between 35-50 hours each weekMaintain a very high degree of accuracy in data entryBe able to work in a high-pressure environment and adapt to changing priorities

What will your typical day look like?

Customer Management

Collaborate with Product Quality Engineers and customers to ensure all requirements for release of product are documented and approved.   Lead or assist in preparation of release packages for customers. Facilitate materials returns.  Track statistics of incoming and outgoing warranty and repair product.  Requires Oracle transactions and precise data entry abilities.

Compliance Management

Interview WPT directors to generate/calculate Key Process Indicators (KPIs).  Facilitate regular conference call to review performance.  Issue Corrective Actions as needed. Perform audits as assigned.  Facilitate weekly review of audits and report on findings.  Issue Corrective Actions (CARs) as needed.  Knowledge of Audit and Corrective Action methodology is needed, as well as an intermediate-level use of Reliance software.Perform document control duties for site. 

General

Secure and maintain a forklift licenseSupport and participate in internal and external audits as requiredPurchase supplies as requestedOther duties as needed

Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an indoor manufacturing environment.  The employee will work in areas exposed to production activities to include but not limited to production machinery, assembly operations, overhead cranes usage, and forklift traffic.  The employee will be required to use personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to workplace hazards.

Mental Demands: While performing the duties of this class, the employee is regularly required to use written and oral communication skills; read and interpret data, information and documents; analyze and solve problems; use math and mathematical reasoning; observe and interpret situations; learn, apply and teach new information or skills; and interact with other employees, customers and vendors.

The hourly rate for this role is in the range of $22.00 - $25.00 

The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location.
