Kforce has a client that is seeking a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer in Birmingham, AL. Summary: We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to support our client's QA team in enhancing their automation capabilities while continuing to drive efficient manual testing practices. You'll work in a collaborative Agile environment and contribute to both sprint-based and regression testing cycles, with a focus on UI and API testing. This position is ideal for someone who is confident in leading automation efforts, can participate actively in sprint planning, and is comfortable working closely with development, QA analysts, and business stakeholders. Responsibilities: * Lead automation efforts for project-level testing across UI and API components * Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, and business teams to review requirements and ensure test coverage * Develop and execute manual test cases; Identify candidates for automation in regression cycles * Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium (C#) and Postman * Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and delivery * Participate in sprint planning and backlog grooming to provide accurate testing estimates * Coordinate testing activities with onshore and offshore teams as needed * Document and track defects in tools such as Jira and Tricentis qTest * Support testing in containerized environments using tools such as Docker
