Job Title: Quality Assurance Automation Developer

Job Description

As a Quality Assurance Automation Developer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that digital services are delivered with the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

ResponsibilitiesLead efforts in delivering quality digital services by creating test plans to ensure consistent quality.Develop test cases and scenarios and design system, load, performance, and security tests.Manage and implement automated test suites to facilitate rapid and frequent delivery.Encourage and support the adoption of quality practices within the team, such as code linting, test coverage, and Behavior/Test Driven Development (BDD/TDD).Contribute to the use of re-usable testing components and the creation of test databases.Support the team in defining and collecting metrics for service quality, including automated metrics collection and report generation.Essential SkillsExperience with coding and developing testing automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines, such as GitHub Actions, for at least 2 years.At least 4 years of experience in creating and modifying automation test scripts.3 years of experience in preparing or supporting the preparation of automation test plans and test cases.Experience using automation testing frameworks for at least 3 years.2 years of experience with GitHub.3 years of experience with load testing, performance testing, security testing, and/or end-to-end testing.Additional Skills & Qualifications1 year of experience with API testing.1 year of experience with Cucumber and/or Cypress.1 year of experience with establishing and gathering automation testing metrics.2 years of experience with implementing QA automation standards within an organization.1 year of experience with Jira Xray.1 year of experience with User Acceptance Testing processes in large, complex, multi-stakeholder environments.Work Environment

The role primarily involves remote work, with possible requirements to attend meetings or sessions in Edmonton. Developers must provide their own equipment, including computers and software. The primary virtual meeting tool is Microsoft Teams.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $85.00/hr.
