Job Description

Eurofins Agroscience Services is searching for a Quality Assurance Associate to work with our QA team in Columbia, MO.  This is an entry level position that includes the training you will need to be successful.  Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.  The Quality Assurance Department is responsible for ensuring the entire facility and the studies conducted are in compliance with EPA and FDA regulations.  This position provides the opportunity to learn all aspects of Agroscience Services, from study design, to study conduct, from data collection to data analysis, and regulatory expectations throughout the process. 

Quality Assurance Associate responsibilities include: 

Review protocols, procedures, data, reports, and other documentation for internal accuracy, consistency, and conformance with GLP regulations. 

Files protocols, amendments, deviations, inspections and other quality documents appropriately. 

Prepares, issues, and tracks reports of observations noted during audits and inspections.  Reviews and evaluates addressed deficiencies for clarity, completeness, correctness, and potential impact on compliance status. 

Perform phase inspections of ongoing studies. 

Assist with review of data and reports. 

Qualifications

The ideal candidate would possess: 

Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills 

Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail 

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude 

Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies 

Basic Minimum Qualifications: 

Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in related major) 

GLP audit experience desired 

Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with overtime as needed.  Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Columbia, MO are encouraged to apply.
