Quality Assurance Analyst - Accident & Health Insurance
About the Role: The Accident & Health (A&H) division of General Insurance is now hiring a Quality Assurance Specialist. This critical role supports to the A&H UW Operations teams to ensure accuracy in policy creation and workflow for internal and external customers and provides exceptional customer service for a range of stakeholders. In this role, you will help ensure the team is consistently meeting service levels and performance targets for volume, accuracy, and quality. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, thrive when working independently, and communicate effectively. Key Responsibilities: + Responsible for reviewing all tasks associated with policy and document creation and workflow to ensure the highest quality standards and requirements are consistently adhered to + Ability to effectively communicate feedback, both positive and constructive, to team members + Lead the establishment and improvement of quality assurance guidelines and procedures + Perform regular reporting on both team and individual quality results + Participate in audits and other quality assurance-related activities + Maintain underwriting files and documentation to the required standards + Establish and maintain strong customer relationships with internal teams, sales teams, and external customers + Undertake ongoing compliance and regulatory training as required + Adhere to company policies, procedures, and guidelines + Ensure a positive customer experience for clients and colleagues + Work effectively and collaboratively as part of the team + Assist in completion of ad-hoc projects Qualifications: + 3+ years of customer service or related experience. Must have insurance experience. + Prior experience with insurance products including quote process, new policy issuance, renewals, and endorsement processing a major plus. Accident & Health insurance lines experience also a plus. + Proven ability and success related to roles and tasks requiring outstanding attention to detail + Strong aptitude for basic computer systems such as Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, and Excel) Adobe + Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both internal and external customers as shown by part experience in a customer driven environment + Ability to work in fast-paced and ever-changing environment + Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities + Excellent problem-solving skills + Knowledge of quality standards + Data analysis and/or process improvement experience #LI-CY1 At AIG, we value in-person collaboration as a vital part of our culture, which is why we ask our team members to be primarily in the office.
