Quality Assurance Advisor
Position - Quality Assurance Advisor Location - Labman HQ Seamer Salary - From £36,000 - £44,000, based on experience. The Opportunity Reporting to the Quality Assurance Area Manager, the successful candidate will develop and implement tailored quality processes across business units, ensuring alignment with operational needs and business goals. This role involves assessing current procedures, identifying improvements, collaborating with stakeholders, and delivering practical solutions. Responsibilities also include updating documentation, training staff on new standards, and evaluating process effectiveness. By promoting consistency, compliance, and continuous improvement, the Quality Assurance Advisor will play a vital role in the organisation's ongoing success. What you will do + Support the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards + Review and manage all quality related processes, including customer feedback, internal auditing and CAPA investigations + Oversee and support the implementation of quality control measures across engineering processes, ensuring compliance with standards and best practices + Investigate non-conformances and support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) + Ensure robust documentation practices across the QMS, including audit trails, change control, and training records + Assist with internal audits and prepare for customer or third-party audits + Partner with cross-functional teams to drive adherence to quality standards and embed continuous improvement in all processes + Championing quality systems across the business + Ensuring process compliance as well as product conformity + Liaising with regulatory bodies or certifying agencies + Promote a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement across the business What You'll Bring + Working knowledge of ISO 9001 or other relevant quality standards. Experience within GMP, GxP, or regulated environment (e.g., pharmaceutical, biotech, medical devices,) would be advantageous + Strong understanding of quality processes such as audits, inspections, CAPA, and document control. + Good analytical and problem-solving skills. + High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
