Job Description
About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Food Safety & Quality (FSQ) Technician to join our quality assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting audits on incoming raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies. You will also play an active part in improving and maintaining our FSQ programs.

Key Responsibilities:Monitor daily adherence to HACCP and GMP protocols; report and escalate any non-compliance.Generate and maintain reports such as specification notices, trend analyses, and QA hold releases using SAP, Excel, and Word.Review and verify compliance with regulatory and procedural standards, including product formulas and manufacturing processes.Collaborate with teams in Food Chemistry, Microbiology, Sensory, and Product Development to gather samples for testing.Evaluate Certificate of Analysis (COA) data and determine next steps when discrepancies arise.Work with production to rework products for routine quality issues when necessary.Lead GMP/food safety orientation sessions for new or temporary staff.Perform formulation audits and quality checks as outlined in product specifications.Document and report all quality and food safety issues accurately and promptly.


Work Experience
Qualifications:

Experience:

1 year or less of related quality assurance or food safety experience preferred.

Skills & Abilities:

Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Understanding of HACCP principles and their application in a production environment.Basic math and strong documentation skills.Familiarity with laboratory equipment and product specifications.HACCP certification preferred.
