Position Overview:
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Quality Inspector I to help ensure our vehicles meet contract configuration requirements and comply with all technical specifications. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with fellow Siemens inspectors and Customer Resident Inspectors to uphold our high-quality standards and support successful project delivery.
Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will play a key role in maintaining product integrity and customer satisfaction.
What your day may look like:
Conducts complex electro-mechanical inspections throughout production, assembly, and final stages to ensure compliance with contract specifications and workmanship standards.Performs critical visual, dimensional, functional, and test inspections on a wide range of components and systems, following established guidelines and specifications.Interfaces regularly with Assembly, Quality Management, Engineering, and Customer Resident Inspectors.Executes advanced inspection procedures, including first article inspections and setups for unique equipment.Identifies and manages discrepant materials, supports part flow requirements, and assists in resolution activities.Applies problem-solving skills to address multiple variables in standardized situations.What you will need to thrive in this role:
High School diploma or equivalent.Understanding inspection methods and equipment, the ability to perform complex shop mathematics. Ability to interpret and use blueprints, specs, engineering drawings, electrical schematics, materials lists and inspection standards.Requires a minimum of one-year experience of interfacing with quality functions.Requires medium-level computer abilities.Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts; in high, precarious places; and in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.Work under minimum supervision.Available to work overtime.Additional Information:

This position in located in Sacramento, CA. The starting hourly rate for this role is $21.50 plus there is a 10% shift differential for second shift. First and second shifts are available. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
