REYNOLDS AMERICAN has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Analyst - Materialsin Winston Salem
The Quality Analyst is responsible for quality control in the production areas including acceptance of incoming materials, evaluation and release of materials, work in process, and finished products per procedural requirements and specifications. This role requires the use of measuring devices, data analysis and report generation to support production operations and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Assist with qualification process for new Products, Technologies, Materials, Suppliers, and EquipmentMaintain records of test results, generate reports, and interpret resultsConduct data analysis to support daily operations, supplier performance, and troubleshootingContinuous improvement: IWS – CoCoE and QIE ImprovementOperate and maintain various test instrumentsProduct Maintenance – raw material optimization for production improvements; manufacturing processes optimization and alignment across facilitiesSupport the manufacturing Production Associates in their IWS efforts toward stopping the stopsUnderstand responsibilities for compliance with regulatory requirements and Company standardsWhat are we looking for?
Bachelor of Science degree preferred; or Associate degree with relevant experience (2+ yrs); or High School diploma or equivalent with relevant experience (5+ yrs)Experience in quality management systems, quality testing, production processes, and knowledge of TPMP regulationsProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteStrong problem-solving abilities, including root cause analysis, and familiarity with quality toolsAbility to interpret analytical test data and perform material evaluationsAbility to work independently and make decisions with minimal oversightOrganizational and record-keeping skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments and with suppliersAdequate level of sensory acuity (Ability to visually discern color, including intensity of color/shade) required to perform material evaluationsWE ARE REYNOLDS AMERICAN—A member of the BRITISH AMERICAN TOBACCO GROUP
