**Job Summary** The Sr. Quality Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products within the Hi-Tech and Finance & Accounting domains. With a hybrid work model and day shifts the candidate will utilize their expertise in TestNG SQL Java and Python to design and implement effective testing strategies. This position requires strong English language skills for communication and documentation. **Responsibilities** + Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure software quality and performance. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects and ensure seamless integration of software components. + Utilize TestNG framework to automate test processes enhancing efficiency and accuracy in testing activities. + Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders highlighting areas for improvement and potential risks. + Implement SQL queries to validate data integrity and ensure accurate data processing within applications. + Leverage Java and Python programming skills to create robust test scripts and tools that support continuous integration and delivery. + Conduct thorough testing of software applications within the Hi-Tech and Finance & Accounting domains ensuring compliance with industry standards. + Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to developers fostering a culture of quality and excellence. + Monitor and track software defects working closely with development teams to prioritize and resolve issues promptly. + Ensure adherence to best practices in software testing and quality assurance contributing to the overall success of projects. + Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective testing strategies. + Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies applying them to improve testing processes and methodologies. + Provide training and guidance to junior team members sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance team capabilities. **Qualifications** + Possess a strong background in TestNG SQL Java and Python with proven experience in software testing and quality assurance. + Demonstrate expertise in the Hi-Tech and Finance & Accounting domains understanding the unique challenges and requirements of these industries. + Exhibit excellent communication skills in English both written and spoken to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders. + Have a minimum of 4 years and a maximum of 6 years of relevant experience in quality engineering roles. + Show proficiency in developing automated test scripts and tools contributing to efficient and reliable testing processes. + Display a keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions. + Adapt to a hybrid work model balancing remote and in-office work effectively.
