Quality Assurance Manager Transdev is hiring a highly professional Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to join our team in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is a highly responsible administrative position working within the Operations Department. An employee in a position allocated to this class must be able to exercise a high degree of independent judgment and initiative in planning, developing, and implementing projects and programs to ensure the location is meeting its contractual and quality obligations. The employee receives guidance and general direction but is expected to independently develop and administer the projects and programs assigned. Work in this area involves the use of a variety of software applications and will involve working with the operations, maintenance and safety departments. About the Position The QA Manager will manage the Quality Assurance function and will act as a central point of contact for quality needs across the location. This person will also direct the intake, compilation, and intra/inter-departmental coordination, documentation, resolution, and reporting of quality management activities Key Responsibilities: Ensure adherence to timeliness requirements for response, resolution, and reporting of complaints and grievances.Update and report activity to the management staff in a consistent and timely manner.Oversight of all data gathering, reconciliation, and reporting of contractual requirements.Ensuring that all submittals are accurate and submitted on time in accordance with the contract.Performs random audits of maintenance DVIR and quality checks of all records within the department. Also performs random audit checks of contract performance, i.e., Wash logs, fuel logs, etc.Performs random audits with Safety Manager of Department requirements, i.e. D&A Compliance, BOCT Logs and timely updates, etc.Organize systematic data collection and analysis in concert with other departments.Provide necessary data and information to assist with monitoring and coordination of quality improvement, credentialing, and service outcomes.Monitors and evaluates system data to determine contractor compliance; writes comprehensive contractor oversight reports.Monitors driver schedule adherence and on-time performance; monitors operator skills and appearance; performs operator credential checks.Develops evaluation criteria for projects, conducts evaluation studies and prepares reports.Ensures proper reporting is delivered in a timely manner to meet contractual requirements.Prepares, documents and is the project manager of audits from RTC, DOT and other entities.Coordinates projects through meetings, (virtual and in-person) correspondence and be able to make presentations (oral and written), when applicable. Required knowledge, skills, and abilities: Knowledge of principles and practices of management and public administration.Ability to exercise judgment and discretion in establishing, applying, and interpreting policies and procedures.Knowledge of data processing principles, standards, and procedures.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, subordinates, public officials, other governmental agencies, and the general public.Ability to organize and prioritize work and work independently without direct supervision.Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely both orally and in writing. (individual and group settings).Ability to write policies, procedures, and standards.Ability to develop programs which effectively meet, desired objectives.Knowledge of DOT regulations, Vehicle OEM requirements, DMV policies and knowledge of the Americans with Disability Act and its impact on a public transit system. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree is required.At least 5 years of public transit experience is required.At least 3 years of QA/QC Management experience is required.Must have experience with quality metrics reporting.Trapeze software experience is required.Computer literate/proficient in Microsoft suite. This includes excels, MS word, etc.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills. Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of management including external partners.

• Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces
• Push and pull objects up to 25 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level
• Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise
