Aspire People are working in partnership with a fantastic ASD specialist school in Harborne to recruit a passionate and skilled QTS Maths Teacher. This full-time role is ideal for a committed educator who can adapt their teaching to meet the needs of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and associated learning needs.

The Role:
Deliver Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 to students with ASD and complex needs
Plan and adapt lessons in line with individual EHCPs and differentiated learning needs
Use a range of visual, practical, and sensory-based approaches to engage learners
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students can thrive
Collaborate with support staff, SENCOs, and therapists to ensure holistic development
Assess progress regularly and provide feedback to staff, parents, and external agencies as required
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
Experience teaching Maths (KS3/KS4); SEND school experience is highly desirable
Understanding of ASD, sensory processing needs, and communication challenges
Patience, flexibility, and creativity in adapting lessons to suit individual learners
Excellent behaviour management skills and a calm, consistent approach
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one through Aspire People)
