Pay at Cardinal Health is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity. **_What Inventory Management contributes to Cardinal Health_** Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning. Inventory Management is accountable for the design and execution of demand planning and customer forecasting systems, supply planning, product deployment and expediting processes, and the development and implementation of a stocking optimization model to minimize costs and inventory while delivering on service requirements. **_Responsibilities_** + Researching PO, ASN, IBDN information. + Verification of inbound documentation accuracy and quality according to GDP standards. + Performs accurate documenting and filing of inbound paperwork. + Works with inbound teams to reconcile receiving discrepancies. + Works with purchasing department, RICM, vendors, etc., to request, obtain, or reconcile purchase order discrepancies. + Performs receiving / putaway functions as needed. + Researches and resolves count variances to ensure accurate inventory records and identify potential areas of improvement in the process. + Moves inventory locations as needed to maintain efficient and compliant operations. + Receives returns from vendors and customers and determines product quality for resale. + Researches, verifies, and responds to customer service requests in CRM. + Reviews, processes, and intervenes on all recall notices for products. + Follows QRA/QIC policies and procedures when working with recalled product. + Follows proper product expiration date tracking protocols. + Performs damaged and expired product processing according to company policies and procedures. + Reconciles inventory discrepancies. + Assists Operations teams with inventory requests. + Performs other tasks as needed. **_Qualifications_** + High School Diploma or GED preferred + 1-2 years related work experience and/or training preferred + 1-2 years experience with operating stand-up forklifts preferred + 1-2 years experience with operating stand-up clamp lift preferred **_What is expected of you and others at this level_** + Applies extensive knowledge and company policies to complete a wide range of assignments + Demonstrates expert understanding of all levels of the job family and has thorough knowledge of jobs outside area of responsibility + Takes the lead in effectively applying new processes and skills in accomplishing assignments + May provide technical guidance and training to others + Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications + Works on complex problems that require independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issue + Makes recommendation for new or revised processes and has a role on the implementation + Adheres to all quality guidelines + Works with minimal degree of supervision + Has latitude to make decisions in exceptional circumstances within established guidelines + Provides guidance to less experienced team members + May have team leader responsibilities but does not formally supervise **Please follow this link for a short video walking you through our facility:** Greenwood, SC Manufacturing and Distribution of Inco Products - YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eq0\_eE2dpGw) _Candidates who are back-to-work, people with disabilities, without a college degree, and Veterans are encouraged to apply._ _Cardinal Health supports an inclusive workplace that values diversity of thought, experience and background.
