The role:
The QHSE Business Partner’s role is to build a high-level culture in the area of Quality, Safety, Health and Environment (QHSE) Management systems in accordance with the relevant standards and Bureau Veritas Pacific requirements across a specific business entity or with a national focus (e.g in Safety).
Location: The role is open in Sydney and in Melbourne
Responsibilities:
Maintain QHSE Systems
Ensure QHSE documentation is applicable across business line or region, review complex documentation, issue and archive documents and maintain document registers. Identify, design, plan, undertake, lead and complete independent projects identified in the QHSE Business plan. Manage project teams.Business Partnership and Influence
Work closely with business line management team to integrate QHSE considerations into strategic planning and operational decision-makingQHSE Audits (Internal & External)
Determine auditing needs for business lines to ensure maintenance of accreditation and certifications and reduction of key business risks. Carry out QHSE internal audits and raise NCRs as required. Manage all aspects of QHSE based audits (regulatory, insurance, safety, client etc).Review QHSE Performance
Analyse, report and present QHSE performance metrics, KPIs and compliance status for business lines/regions or national overview
What’s needed?
Ideally you will have previous experience and the following skillsets:
Diploma or degree in a related field Qualifications in Quality or Safety Management Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong PC skills Knowledge of ISO management systems, regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements. Previous experience working in or with QHSE systems Auditing knowledge/ experience Ideal to have risk management experience
