Job Purpose
You will support Quality, Health, Safety, Environment and Security activities for our coatings manufacturing site at Deeside to ensure that the Quality & HSE objectives are met. This will involve implementing company procedures / guidelines as well as deploying / sustaining a strong HSE culture across the site.
Job Responsibilities
Support the QHSE&S Manager with planning, coordinating and implementing effective Quality & HSE policies, guidelines and procedures. Collaborate with colleagues on issues covering company arrangements & standards for health & safety. Provide guidance on health, safety & environmental matters. Help with specialist health & safety assessments. Undertake inspections of workplaces & produce accurate reporting. Provide both formal/informal health & safety training. Support accident/incident investigations. Conduct risk & occupational exposure assessments. Support QHSE&S Manager to follow up regulatory permits related to HSE&S.
Job Requirements
Proven experience in a similar in a Health, Safety and Environment role. Familiar with Management Systems, Auditing Tools, Crisis Management, Incident Investigation and related QHSE processes Experience in a manufacturing environment.
