**Location/Division Specific Information:**
As part of the Laboratory Equipment Division, the Sabana Abajo, Carolina, PR Site focuses on the manufacturing process of the highest quality pH, Ion-Selective and Conductivity electrodes for water analysis instrumentation.
**How Will You Make an Impact?**
Our team is dynamic and fast paced, relying on collaboration, multitasking, and communication within the team and the larger organization. We are seeking an upbeat individual with strong technical and operational skills to join our team. This position will be responsible for supporting the Quality Control Department responsible for the verification of electrodes.
**A Day in Life:**
+ Visually inspect the electrodes delivered from the manufacturing area to quality control (QC) to make sure it has no physical defects.
+ Use pH meters, multimeters, high resistance meters, rulers, calipers, thermometers, and any other measuring instrument required to inspect product quality.
+ Inspect the physical and chemical quality of all products delivered to either subassembly or finished product according to the appropriate work instructions and specifications.
+ Record inspection data in forms and electronic spreadsheets.
+ Detect and report on any quality situation that interferes with the functionalities and specifications of the electrodes.
**Education:**
High School Diploma or equivalent required
**Experience:**
+ Required: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in QA or QC or related field
**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:**
+ Proven documentation/communication/digital literacy
+ Able to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
+ Computer knowledge and use of applications such as MS Excel.
+ Practical knowledge of units of measurement and basic mathematical skills.
**Physical Requirements / Work Environment**
+ Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and understand chemical hygiene.
+ Able to handle solutions and chemicals.
+ Essentials functions may require lifting objects up to 40 pounds.
+ Willing to work overtime in the short-term notice, including weekends to support department as needed.
