Job Description

Position Responsibilities:

Verification of sample submissions to Quality ControlDocumentation of sample transactions in Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)Handling, storage, and organization of samplesDelivering samples to QC laboratories for testing as requiredInteracting with outside customers and functional peer groupsFulfilling sample pull requestsCompliance with all pertinent regulatory agency requirementsConducting temperature, environmental, and/or CO2 monitoring.Preparation of samples for shipmentPerforming sample inventory and disposalEnsuring compliance with SOPs; reports any quality or other anomalies through the Deviation Notification and Resolution system

Leadership Responsibilities

Leading direct reports, group leaders and their teams, and serving clients in technical settings, such as laboratories or manufacturing facilitiesDisseminate administrative communicationsDemonstrate and promote the company visionProactively plan and multitask to maximize productivityMeet all quality and productivity metrics, and demonstrate strong teamwork and collaborationCoordinate scheduling and allocation of responsibilities, and new hire on-boarding processCoordinates training programDevelopment of teambuilding strategies and initiatives

QualificationsBachelor’s degree in life sciences Minimum of three years previous leadership experience in the pharmaceutical industry cGMP experience required Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorshipCandidates within a commutable distance of Rensselaer, NY are encouraged to apply

Additional Information

Position is full-time with a 2nd shift, Monday-Friday schedule: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Base compensation is $35-$41 per hour based on experience.

2nd shift includes a 10% shift differential
