Job Description

The QC/Safety Manager shall develop, implement, and oversee all quality programs associated with contracts services and be responsible for preparing and enforcing the safety program at CMI’s customer site in Washington, DC.

Key Job Functions

Shall be on-site during the client's regular working hours and shall be available on-site within one hour after the client's regular working hours.Responsible for the verification and compliance of work standards and timeliness and accuracy of the work performedResponsible for the oversight of audits, monthly reporting, and compliance with contract requirementsUses random sampling to evaluate process efficiencyResponsible for recognizing data problems that might invalidate samples and ensuring that complaints and violations are investigated appropriatelyOversee Activity Hazard Analyses and take appropriate action for all applicable common Recurring Work activities performed under this contract Conduct inspections of its work areas, job sites, and work crews every day work is being performed to ensure that all Contractor operations are being conducted safelyProvide assessment-driven corrective actions and process adjustments as appropriate in a timely manner Reviews and validates reports of findings and ensures that action is taken or recommendedRecommends changes in administrative procedures, methods, and standardsEstablish and maintain an inspection and surveillance system to ensure that the work performed conforms to the contract requirements Document and maintain a file of all scheduled and performed inspections and surveillances, inspection and surveillance results, and dates and details of corrective and preventive actions. 

QualificationsHigh School Diploma required, BA degree preferredAt least 5 years of experience in preparing and enforcing QMS and Safety programs for a workforce providing facility maintenance services within a facility at least 500k sq feet in size.Familiarity and experience with Operations & Maintenance and Janitorial staff and services
