Join our team as a **Quality Control Lab Technician** and play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards for safety, consistency, and performance **Pay** : $24/hr **Schedule** : **2 days during the week** (Monday, Tuesday OR Wednesday 630am to 3pm) and then **Saturday and Sunday 7 am to 7:30 pm** **Job Type** : Contract to Permanent **Location** : 100% On-Site | Florence, KY At this time, Astrix cannot transfer nor sponsor a work Visa for this position. Relocation assistance is not available for this position. **Benefits Offered:** + Medical/dental coverage! + Weekly pay! + 401k and PTO after 6 months! + Great benefit package offered upon conversion! **QC Lab Technician Daily Tasks: What you will do:** + Perform analytical testing (pH, % alcohol, titrations, spectrometry, turbidity, color values, etc.) and document results to approve or reject product. + Identify and correct non-conformances, escalating issues to Quality as needed. + Calibrate lab equipment, prepare solutions, manage samples, and maintain supplies. + Support investigations by analyzing and collecting data. + Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, USDA, HACCP, OSHA, and food safety guidelines. + Participate in required training and maintain strong attendance, flexibility, and a positive team attitude **QC Lab Technician Qualifications/Requirements:** + High school diploma or equivalent required; Chemistry or Laboratory Technique coursework preferred + Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in manufacturing operations background (food or chemical preferred) + 1 year of laboratory experience + SAP experience is required We strongly encourage candidates who have some of the skills to apply.
