Job Title: QC Lab Analyst Location: Savannah, GA Work Schedule: 2-3-2 shift rotation, 6:45 am to 7:00pm and 6:45pm to 7:00am. 36hr week then 48hr week rotations Pay Range: $25 - $27/hr Type: Contract, Potential for extension or conversion to permanent Responsibilities RESPONSIBILITIES • Operates and maintains various quality control instruments. • Performs timely and accurate routine quality control analysis using established test methods. • Approves/rejects materials based upon set specifications. • Enters data into plant information system to allow generation of reports on plant operating conditions • Maintains the laboratory according to 5S practices, good housekeeping and safety standards within the Chemical Hygiene Plan. • Performs calibrations of equipment. • Assists in troubleshooting problems with in-process materials, intermediates and finished products. • May perform other related assignments as determined by supervision. Requirements MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education equivalent to: • BS in Chemistry or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience Experience: • Minimum 6 months lab experience Job related work experience skills/knowledge requirements: (describes ideal and preferable experience but not the number of years) • Self motivated individual with good time management skills • Good IT literacy skills (Microsoft Office) • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent communications skills..
