Job Title: QC Data Reviewer

Job Description

As a QC Data Reviewer, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of 14 chemists and lab technicians who test finished products, raw materials, and ANDA products within the laboratory. You will ensure data reviews are completed and aid in audits and investigations concerning deviations occurring during daily testing of pharmaceutical products. You will also assist with testing samples, including oral rinses and antiseptics, using titrations, pH, specific gravity, and HPLC as needed.

ResponsibilitiesSupervise chemists and lab technicians testing finished products, raw materials, in-process samples, and components.Perform data reviews and support audits and investigations on testing deviations for pharma products.Assist in testing new ANDA products, primarily Oral Dose products.Conduct testing using HPLC, GC, TOC, FT-IR, UV-Vis, and pH meters.Inspect supplies and ingredients used in pharmaceutical production.Review SOPs and lab protocols for accuracy.Participate in instrument validation when required.Ensure adherence to GMP and FDA guidelines.Essential Skills3-5+ years of experience in HPLC/GC and Pharma/cGMP settings.Bachelor’s degree with a major in chemistry.Knowledge of GMP and GDP.Experience in data review and documentation.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Familiarity with OpenLab and LIMS software.Additional Skills & QualificationsPreferred 4 years of pharmaceutical industry experience with hands-on GC, HPLC, FTIR, and wet chemistry.Good handwriting for laboratory notebook documentation.Knowledge of Agilent OpenLab software is an advantage.Work Environment

The position is based in a QC Lab at a pharmaceutical company specializing in oral rinse and antiseptic solutions, among other pharma products. Work primarily involves testing new ANDA products within the Oral Dose division. The company is rapidly growing and has recently expanded with a new lab site. The work schedule is during the 1st shift, from 8 AM to 4 PM or 9 AM to 5 PM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $36.00/hr.
