**QC Chemist** Quality Control Olmsted county, MN, US Pay Rate Low: 40 | Pay Rate High: 55 + Added - 19/08/2025 Apply for Job **QC Chemist** **Location:** Olmsted County, MN We are proud to partner with a leading CDMO specializing in pharmaceutical development and manufacturing to hire a QC Chemist. In this important role, you will join a skilled team dedicated to supporting drug development from early research through commercial production—helping to accelerate the path to market with accuracy and compliance. **Key Responsibilities** + Design and refine small-scale synthetic processes, methodologies, and formulations for labeled products, including small molecules, peptides, and antibodies. + Conduct regular analytical testing of labeled products utilizing techniques like TLC, HPLC, and spectroscopy. + Collaborate with development teams to generate and maintain Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls documentation for client projects. + Provide subject matter expertise to production teams regarding synthetic processes and troubleshooting. + Accurately document laboratory experiments, author standard operating procedures, and prepare technical reports. + Support investigations into deviations occurring during product development or manufacturing activities. **Qualifications & Experience** + Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline. + At least 3 years of hands-on experience in analytical testing, method development, or product labeling within pharmaceutical or biotech environments. + Familiarity with analytical techniques including TLC, HPLC, and spectroscopy; experience with complex labeling or conjugation is advantageous. + Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and present data effectively. + Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple assignments, and anticipate potential issues. + Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the capacity to collaborate across departments. + Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet project deadlines. + Flexibility to work extended hours or occasional weekends as needed. + \#INDBH We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
