Job Title: QC Analyst I

Pay Rate: $25-35/hour 
Contractor Work Model: Onsite; 12+ month contract 
Hours: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm 

Overview: 
Biopharmaceutical Company is seeking a QC Analyst to support microbiology and environmental monitoring programs in the development of monoclonal antibodies. 

Responsibilities:  Collect routine environmental monitoring (EM) samples and water samples and perform plate enumeration on a daily basis in accordance with all protocols and procedures  Perform basic water testing such as pH and conductivity in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs)  Enter sampling and testing data into laboratory data system and ensure adherence to SOPs and GMPs  Perform routine lab cleaning and equipment maintenance escalating potential equipment issues to supervisor  Report out of specification results from the sampling and testing to supervisor, assist with performing laboratory investigations to determine the root cause and possible resolution  Revise and update SOPs as assigned with guidance from senior analyst and/or supervisor 

Requirements: 

Bachelor Degree in Life Sciences or a High School Diploma and 3+ years of experience in performing environmental monitoring and microbiology testing  Experience with bioburden and endotoxin testing Independent, self starter  Work experience that shows reliability. Microbiology experience
