Then you might be the right analytical chemist to join our QC-team at Lundbeck. We are looking for an enthusiastic and action-oriented analytical chemist to perform quality control related to Lundbeck’s pharmaceutical bulk production. **Your new role** You will take part in the responsibility of QC-tasks related to Lundbeck’s production. This includes making sure the analyses fulfil the GMP requirements of the authorities. Your tasks will include, but are not limited to: Approving HPLC, GC and various chemical analyses, handling contact to external laboratories for microbial/sterility testing, laboratory support, handling deviations, writing SOPs, qualification and maintaining analytical equipment, software validation, troubleshooting in collaboration with the production area and tasks in relation to optimization/validation of analytical methods. You will join our QC team and assist us in taking the next leap forward through the work with Operational Excellence and focus on continuous improvement to secure the best supply chain. You will be part of cross-organizational tasks and other relevant activities to build up a stakeholder network in Lundbeck. Furthermore, the department aims to achieve a wide range of employees' skills, which means that two days are rarely the same. It is a great chance to work alongside dedicated colleagues who support the development of innovative ideas. **Your future team** QC Small Molecule is a department of approximately 80 people working in 5 teams with the responsibility of performing quality control related to Lundbeck’s production. In this process we work closely with the pharmaceutical bulk production area. You will be part of a team which consists of approx. 15 employees consisting of a manager, QC academics and laboratory technicians who take pride in the analysis and approval of Lundbeck bulk products as well as the continuous improvement of our processes. QC Small Molecule is placed at our Headquarter in Valby, Copenhagen, and will be the primary workplace. **What you bring to the team** + A scientific academic degree within chemistry, pharmacy, chemical engineering or similar + Experience and interest in working with laboratory equipment (including responsibility for maintenance, qualification, validation and/or software for laboratory equipment) + Experience from a similar position as analytical chemist and GMP experience + A positive attitude and good cooperating skills + Master oral and written Danish and English + Work independently and get things done + Analytical and problem-solving skills + GMP experience As a person, you are positive, structured, and action oriented.
