We are currently seeking QAQC Geoscientist to provide timely and geological support/knowledge to Veracio Operations, through the evaluation and analysis of data generated from the various Veracio scanning instruments and provide support to project management of global operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Veracio QAQC Geoscientists will be directly involved and responsible for ensuring that the quality of the geochemical, geotechnical and mineralogical data produced from various Veracio platforms aligns with Veracio’s QAQC standards and relay information to internal and external key stakeholders as required and in alignment with Project management systems with expected timeframes.
As QAQC Geoscientist’s increase knowledge and experience, during employment at Veracio, responsibility and accountability for processes, instruments, projects and deliverables will increase.
QAQC Geoscientists will be responsible for the following:
· Review and QA/QC of all geochemical, mineralogical and geotechnical data generated from global projects
· Delivery of QAQC calibrated and uncalibrated datasets produced from various Veracio platforms
· Ensure Data Quality of above-mentioned datasets to clients for projects in line with Validation criteria
o Images quality
o Spectra Aquisition quality
o Depth quality
· Support and provide knowledge on troubleshooting technical issues tied to geochemical, geotechnical and mineralogical analytical equipment
· Support and provide knowledge to Veracio Geoscientist QAQC team on global projects
· Support Project Management of global operations
· Provision of support and expert knowledge to Veracio QAQC team to ensure quality data delivery is achieved within time constraints.
· Oversight of project metrics and reporting to external and internal key stakeholders during projects
· Support/provide feedback on Veracio technologies tied to geochemical, geotechnical and mineralogical equipment to innovation and development teams
· Support and co-ordinate global operational tasks as required
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor Degree in Geology, Geochemistry and/or Geophysics
· Background and/or understanding of XRF or infrared spectroscopy related hardware and software
· Ability to work with and engage a diverse group of stakeholders · Practical Proficiency in written and spoken English
PREFERRED ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
· Proficient knowledge of Mineral systems
· Basic Python, R Studio, SQL knowledge
· Ability to adapt to new IT systems
· Geological Lab experience
· Ability to work with and engage a diverse group of stake holders
· Understanding of hard rock geochemistry and Ore deposit knowledge
· Mine site or Exploration related experience
· Experience and knowledge of Geological modeling software (Leapfrog, Vulcan, Surpac)

WORKING CONDITIONS
The role for the Veracio QAQC Geoscientists will primarily office based, on a roster to support global working environment, including Nightshift. Veracio QAQC Geoscientists will require the ability to work remotely, be self-sufficient and manage their time effective, proactively and proficiently. This role requires flexibility to align with time zones of remotes and global teams.

We are currently participating in a bidding process for a core scanning service at a major mining operation located in the Atacama Region. For this project, we are seeking operation assistants to support the efficient and safe execution of our field activities.
**Main Responsibilities:**
+ Assist in the core scanning operation.
+ Support the transportation, cleaning, and organization of rock samples to facilitate the work of the scanner operator.
+ Comply with all EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) requirements and protocols established at the site.
**Mandatory Requirements:**
+ Residency in the Atacama Region.
+ Health suitable for working at high altitudes, certified by a current medical exam issued by an authorized mutual insurance company.
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience working in mining operations.
+ Experience as a sampler, core cutter, drilling assistant, or in similar roles.
