We are seeking a skilled and experienced QA Tester to join our team. As a QA Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications across multiple platforms. **Your role and responsibilities** · Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for an eCommerce application. · Write Gherkin-based scenarios and convert them into automated tests. · Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright. · Conduct functional testing to identify and report software defects, ensuring the reliability of our products. · Collaborate closely with software developers, product managers, and stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of product requirements and ensure adequate test coverage. · Document software defects, issues, and risks in a clear and concise manner, facilitating effective communication and problem resolution. · Perform root cause analysis of identified issues and work closely with the development team to facilitate timely resolutions. · Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. · Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in software testing. **Required technical and professional expertise** · Experience as a QA Tester with Automation. · Extensive knowledge of software testing concepts, methodologies, tools, and best practices. · Hands-on experience with test management tools and test automation frameworks (Playwright with Typescript, Gherkin, Jira Xray is a plus). · Hands-on experience with source code control and CI/CD platforms (GIT, Jenkins) and debugging tools. · Experience working with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. · Excellent communication and technical skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with testers, developers, product managers and other stakeholders. · Ability to effectively collaborate with other testers, developers, product managers and other stakeholders · Team Player, Self-driven, well organized and proactive.
