Job Description
As a QA Test Lead for a large telecommunications client, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and stability of our applications. Your day will primarily involve manual testing, including planning and executing regression tests, managing test case cycles, and collaborating closely with both the application support and automation teams. Youll be responsible for creating and managing test tickets, coordinating test suite updates, and ensuring timely delivery of test assignments. A key part of your role will be bridging the gap between manual and automated testing by understanding the automation process and ensuring seamless handoffs. Youll also lead test planning efforts, manage progression and regression cycles, and support release readiness through effective test execution and defect management.
Pay Range: $40 - 45 / hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements
58 years of experience in software testing, with a primary focus on manual testing
23 years of experience in a leadership role, with experience managing test assignments, delivery timelines, and defect cycles. Proven ability to delegate based on team members technical strengths.
Functional knowledge of automation processes to effectively collaborate with automation teams
Proven experience in both manual and automated testing environments
Familiarity with JIRA for ticketing and Octane for test case management.
Ability to interpret technical requirements and translate them into effective test strategies. null
