What You Will Get To Do:

As a QA Test Engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our systems through meticulous planning, execution, and documentation of testing activities. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to validate business requirements, identify and resolve defects, and maintain system integrity. This role offers the opportunity to deepen your understanding of financial technologies, contribute to continuous improvement, and mentor junior team members—all while helping deliver robust, user-focused solutions.

Design and maintain high-quality test plans, scenarios, and scripts to validate that business requirements are metProduce clear and comprehensive testing documentation in line with organizational standardsExecute structured and thorough testing activities, adhering to test plans and utilizing appropriate tools to ensure system stability and capture accurate test evidenceIdentify, log, and track software defects, ensuring all relevant information is recorded to support efficient resolutionCollaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and ensure timely delivery of testing tasksDevelop a strong understanding of SS&C systems and associated technologies to enhance testing effectiveness and support user-focused validationApply industry and business knowledge to assess system functionality and ensure alignment with operational needsMonitor and manage issue reporting, ensuring timely progression through to resolutionSupport the development of junior team members through coaching and knowledge sharingMaintain data integrity by ensuring the reliability and accuracy of system functions critical to daily operations

What You Will Bring:

Practical experience in software testing, including proficiency with industry-standard testing toolsFamiliarity with the financial services domain, particularly Life & Pensions, is advantageousProven ability to analyze and resolve complex issuesClear and effective communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiencesTeam-oriented mindset with a collaborative approachExcellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple priorities efficientlyHolding a recognized testing certification, such as ISTQB Foundation Level or higher, is required
