Job Title: QA Technician Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated QA Technician to provide quality assurance support in the manufacturing, packaging, and warehouse areas for contract pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging projects.
Responsibilities
+ Provide quality assurance support in manufacturing, packaging, and warehouse areas.
+ Perform sampling of raw material, packaging materials, in-process, and finished product sampling, as well as water and air sampling and environmental monitoring.
+ Coordinate submission of samples to QC analysis or for third-party analysis.
+ Perform in-process testing, checks, and Acceptance Quality Limit (AQL) for batch processing.
+ Collect samples such as Total Organic Carbon (TOC), drug active, and/or micro swabs from equipment for QC submission.
+ Provide room and equipment clearance and materials checks before starting processes.
+ Escalate any non-conformities to the supervisor.
+ Comply with all company policies and standards.
+ Perform other functions as required or assigned by the supervisor.
+ Ensure adherence to GMP and good documentation practices.
Essential Skills
+ Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree in Chemistry.
+ Experience in line clearance QA.
+ Manufacturing floor crossover experience.
+ Proficiency in laboratory techniques including wet chemistry, titration, and chromatography.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Knowledge of chemistry and wet chemistry.
+ Proficiency in computer applications and programs related to laboratory applications.
+ Understanding of mathematics including statistics.
+ Familiarity with sample preparation techniques.
+ Experience with spectroscopic techniques and chromatographic systems.
+ Basic computer knowledge, including MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Work Environment
This role is based in a laboratory setting with a team of 10 people. The facility is part of a growing CMO, offering high pay and a newly established environment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cranbury, New Jersey.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
