QA Technician
Job Title: QA TechnicianJob Description The QA Technician is responsible for conducting raw material and packaging inspections, monitoring in-process inspections, and reviewing finished goods documentation. The role involves performing a variety of standard microbiological, chemical, physical, or sensory testing and assays. Additionally, the technician will maintain logs and data records related to job functions, such as non-conforming materials, corrective action logs, hold logs, and weight control. Essential Skills + Quality assurance + Quality control + GMP + Inspection + Quality + Lab + HACCP + FDA + Biology + Food safety + Batch record review Additional Skills & Qualifications + Degree in the Sciences or 1 year plus experience in Quality within a GMP/FDA facility Work Environment This position is for a QA Technician on the 3rd shift, which is from 10:30 pm to 7:00 am, and includes a shift premium. The role is based in a food manufacturing environment, requiring 100% presence on the floor for completing paperwork and quality audits/checks. Training is scheduled from Monday to Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The permanent schedule is Monday to Friday with the potential for voluntary overtime on Saturdays and Sundays. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is provided once hired permanently. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oak Creek, Wisconsin. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
