We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join our growing Vancouver-based team as a QA Technical Lead. This
hybrid role combines the benefits of team collaboration in the office with the flexibility of remote work, promoting a healthy
work/life balance. As a key member of our tight-knit team, you will be responsible for driving the overall test strategy for a
proprietary data warehouse, the cornerstone of our cutting-edge data security platform. Essential Functions

Partner with our Product Development Tech Lead to understand the data warehouse product, current testing methodology, and test coverage \tPartner with the QA Team responsible for system-level testing \tDefine overall test strategy for our proprietary data warehouse \tAnalyze current test coverage to assess for and mitigate gaps \tDefine tools, frameworks, and other test infrastructure in line with industry best practices \tDesign and execute a plan for automated performance testing at scale \tReview existing QA Test Plan template and propose any improvements \tOwn creation of a reporting dashboard to facilitate test traceability for releases/builds \tCollaborate daily with other QA members and developers on the warehouse team; provide ideas, feedback and suggestions for improvement \tIdentify problematic areas in existing processes and take ownership for designing/implementing solutions \tEnsure the team provides effective and complete testing of newly released features and supported components making about which tests need to be automated and what can be done manually. Offer -Participate in decision guidance regarding methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results \tParticipate in test automation development \tOwn the creation of proper documentation relevant to QA processes and testing procedures

Minimum Requirements: Skills, Experience, Education, Technical/Specialized Knowledge, Certifications, Language

B.Sc./M.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent \t10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance \tExperience with automated testing \tExperience with Linux operating systems \tExperience with scripting languages (preferably Bash and Python) \tStrong understanding of QA methodologies, validation and verification processes \tExperience with GitHub Action

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of NoSQL database and/or data warehouse internals \tFamiliarity with containerization tools (e.g. Docker) \tExposure to cloud-based systems (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP) \tExperience with Agile development methodologies

The reference Total Target Compensation(TTC) market range for this position, inclusive of annual base salary and the variable compensation target, is between

Total Target Cash (TTC): 112,914.08 - 152,567.14 - 194,331.30 CAD Annual
