Role Overview

Conduct thorough inspections of materials and welding processes to ensure compliance with industry standards. Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) to assess the integrity of materials and structures. Utilize API 510, API 570, and API 653 standards for pressure vessels, piping, and storage tanks inspections. Document inspection findings and prepare detailed reports for quality assurance purposes. Collaborate with engineering and project teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies during all inspection activities. Participate in system completion management processes to ensure project milestones are met.

Skills & Qualifications

Material Inspection: Proficient in evaluating materials for quality and compliance. Welding Knowledge: Strong understanding of welding processes and standards. NDT Expertise: Experience with various Non-Destructive Testing methods. API Certifications: Familiarity with API 510, API 570, and API 653 standards. Microsoft Office: Competent in using Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting. System Completion Management: Knowledge of system completion management systems is a plus.

Education & Experience

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred. Certifications: Relevant certifications in QA/QC and API standards are required. Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in QA/QC inspection within the oil and gas industry.
