Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Understand software requirements and technical design documents.Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.Execute manual and automated tests to identify software bugs.Track, document, and communicate test results and defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.Work closely with developers to resolve issues and verify fixes.Participate in agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives).Perform regression, integration, smoke, and performance testing as needed.Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of the test automation framework.Ensure adherence to quality assurance processes, standards, and best practices.

Work Experience
Manual Testing: Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, test case design techniques, defect lifecycle.Automation Testing (if applicable): Experience with tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium.Programming/Scripting: Basic proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C# (for automation roles).Test Management Tools: Familiarity with JIRA, TestRail, HP ALM, Zephyr.CI/CD and DevOps Tools: Jenkins, Git, Docker, etc. (preferred for automation and agile teams).API Testing: Using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or REST-assured.Database Testing: Basic SQL skills to validate backend data.

Attention to detail and a strong analytical mindset.Excellent communication and documentation skills.Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.Problem-solving abilities and a quality-first mindset.

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
