QA Engineering Lead
**Summary:** We’re looking for QA Engineering Leads to work on our core and business products (Instagram, Messenger, Facebook, GenAI, Growth, Engagement, Ads, Privacy) to help shape the future of what we build at Meta. You enjoy solving quality challenges on products built in cutting edge technology serving billions of people worldwide. **Required Skills:** QA Engineering Lead Responsibilities: 1. Work on building a quality driven engineering environment that helps ship products rapidly and with confidence 2. Drive the quality for a product/feature, assess risks to and ensure shipping features with a high quality bar 3. Plan, develop, and execute test strategy across core Meta products and platforms 4. Lead quality assurance efforts that aligns with product objectives and develop scalable solutions 5. Help solve cross-platform engineering challenges and contribute impactful ideas to the improve quality 6. Implement and evolve QA processes to get effective test signal and scale testing efforts across multiple products 7. Define quality metrics and implement measurements to determine test effectiveness, testing efficiency, and measure the overall quality of the product 8. Partner with engineering and infrastructure teams to leverage automation for scalable solutions to prevent regressions and ensure reliability of product **Minimum Qualifications:** Minimum Qualifications: 9. Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta 10. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent 11. 5+ years of quality assurance and test engineering experience 12. Experience in Python, PHP, Java, C/C++ or equivalent coding language 13. Experience in testing and debugging web or mobile applications 14. Organizational, coordination, and multi-tasking experience 15. Hands-on experience with test planning, test designing and execution, performance and stress testing, implementing and maintaining quality test automation of both client and server systems 16. Communication, analytical and problem-solving experience 17. Knowledge of industry standard test automation tools & automation frameworks **Preferred Qualifications:** Preferred Qualifications: 18. Experience working with medium to large engineering teams 19. Experience communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders across all levels of the organization 20. Experience in managing black box and white box testing 21.
