Description:You will be the Quality Engineering Associate Manager for our Precision Fires Business Process Engineering (BPE) group, leading a team of quality professionals dedicated to driving continuous improvement across the entire line of business. Our team is focused on standardizing requirements, developing and maturing processes, conducting audits, and managing projects to accelerate progress and increase efficiency.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Quality Engineering Associate Manager, you will be responsible for collaborating with Program Quality leaders to execute a BPE strategy that enables accelerated progress and increased efficiency. You will lead by example, leveraging your strong business acumen and exceptional analytical skills to drive continuous improvement and apply systems engineering principles to manage product and process variation.

Your responsibilities will include:
-Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive a continuous improvement strategy
-Leading the development and maturation of business processes, including requirements standardization and audit management
-Executing a BPE strategy to increase efficiency and effectiveness
-Applying advanced knowledge of Aerospace Standards, including AS9100, AS9102, and AS9145
-Managing projects and providing leadership outbriefs to stakeholders

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in STEM or equivalent experience/combined education

Experience in Continuous Improvement

Experience in AS9100, AS9102, and AS9145

Experience as a team lead/facilitator

Experience working with USG customers

Effective communication and presentation skills

Ability to collaborate across programs and cross-functionally
Desired Skills:
Bachelor of Science in STEM or higher preferred

Experience in auditing

Experience in variation management

Six Sigma Certification

Project Management experience

Strong Business Acumen
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
