Job Description Insight Global is looking to hire a dynamic QA Engineer to join North America's largest retail and wellness companies. This QA will analyze business, functional, and technical requirements and create test plan and coverage. Execute, review, and maintain test cases. Identify, log, and track defects through to resolution. Analyze automation test case execution results. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables. Participate in knowledge transfer activities. Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into comprehensive test cases. • Conduct test case reviews, participate in design discussions, and promote QA standards across the team. • Perform smoke, regression, functional, exploratory, and integration testing to ensure application stability. • Log, track, and verify defects using bug-tracking tools and follow through to resolution. • Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and other Agile ceremonies to ensure test coverage and quality delivery. • Contribute to process improvements in QA methodologies and documentation standards. Skills and Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • 3+ years of experience in manual QA testing. • Strong experience with QA tools such as JIRA, Confluence, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar. • Proven ability to write clear and detailed test cases, test plans, and defect reports. • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies. • Strong communication skills, capable of working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes. • Familiarity with system and architectural patterns, especially monoliths vs. microservices. • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms AWS. • Understanding of database basics (ability to run SQL queries for data validation) • Strong understanding of software testing principles • Strong understanding of defect lifecycle management • Familiarity with web technologies (HTTP, cookies, caching, session management) • Knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman or similar (basic validation and verification) null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
