QA Engineer
Job Description As a QA Analyst (Functional) for Insight Global, you will collaborate in testing efforts for a critical B2B payment web application, focusing on functional testing with Selenium initially and transitioning to automation testing in Testim. Your role involves developing, executing, and managing manual and automated test scripts for UI and API layers, building a tiered regression suite, and implementing load, web performance, and security testing. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team, use Postman for API testing, SQL Server for Oracle DB validation, and manage issues in Jira with Zephyr. Additionally, you will utilize GitLab for CI/CD processes, ensuring thorough coverage and reliability of the application. In this position, you will be responsible for defining an overall test strategy and establishing testing best practices for the team. You will spend 2 out of 5 days on test automation tools, transitioning from Selenium to Testim, and conduct functional testing, focusing on web app & database testing (90%) and API testing (10-20%). Your day-to-day activities will include executing manual and automated test scripts, maintaining and executing regression tests, performing load testing, web performance testing, and security testing, and participating in team meetings to provide feedback and collaborate with software engineers, product owners, UX designers, and other stakeholders. Your strong analytical skills will help you identify, document, and resolve issues, ensuring the application meets high standards of functionality, performance, and security. Skills and Requirements 7+ years' experience as a QA Analyst with both manual and automation testing background in web applications within behavior and data driven frameworks    Strong experience with troubleshooting and root causes analysis   Proficiency with Selenium and Katalon Studio   Experience with SOAP and/or RESTful APIs using Postman and/or SoapUI   Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments with strong understanding of those development principles and testing practices   Strong SQL scripting background with SQL Server Understanding of CI/CD concepts, Git commands, and tools such as Jenkins/Gitlab CI Bachelor's degree (preferably Information Technology or Computer Science related)   Experience with one of the following program languages: JavaScript, Java, or Ruby   Experience with AWS Docker   Experience with load and web performance testing using Jmeter, K6, or Sitespeed.io   Experience with AI coding tools   Experience with Jira for issue management and/or Zephyr for test management   Experience with Testim.io for automation test scripts Experience with Oracle DB null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
