Overview: A leading telecommunications company is seeking a skilled and proactive QA Engineer to support its Network Inventory Management (NIM) system. This platform tracks and manages physical assets-including barcoded cables and equipment-through an Android-based scanning application. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both manual and automated testing, with hands-on experience using Playwright and a solid understanding of mobile automation with Appium. You'll be the primary owner of mobile testing efforts and work closely with a tight-knit team of QA and development professionals. Responsibilities: * Conduct manual and automated testing for Android-based barcode scanning functionality * Ensure accurate data capture and system integration through barcode and scan validations * Help build and integrate mobile test automation using Appium into the existing Playwright automation framework * Write, maintain, and execute manual test cases and automation scripts * Actively collaborate with development and QA team members to ensure high-quality releases * Take initiative, voice concerns, and advocate for quality throughout the development cycle
