My client is looking for a QA Engineer to join their team and ensure the quality and stability of new features as they scale their product, solve customer problems, and grow their customer base.

Job requirements

You are a QA Engineer with experience in early-stage startups. You have experience testing applications built with their tech stack: Typescript, Node, React, Postgres, and GraphQL. Familiarity with JavaScript testing frameworks is a plus. You are proficient in both manual and automated testing methodologies. You are capable of working independently to define test strategies and execute test plans, as well as collaborating effectively within a team. You are used to working remotely and managing your workload and motivation in a flexible environment. You are based in Belgium, happy to come to their Ghent office on occasion, and looking for a permanent position. You are passionate about ensuring high-quality software and want to be part of their mission to build something that makes a real difference to their clients.

Job responsibilities

You will be primarily responsible for testing new features and functionalities, ensuring they meet quality standards and user requirements. You will collaborate closely with their product, development, and design teams to understand requirements and provide timely feedback on potential issues. You will develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing. You will identify, document, and track defects using their issue tracking system. You will contribute to the development and maintenance of their automated testing framework. You will work remotely with access to their office in Ghent.
