QA Engineer, Manual Tester

For our Software department in Toulouse (France) we are looking for local talent.

The Role:

Work with a team of software professionals on software applications that control various electronic systems in vehicles. Drive validation of high Quality, high performance and production ready software. Ensure quality from low level software to end applications. Validate software on representative benches and on vehicle. Test and release in alignment with QA & vehicle integration, ensuring quality at the vehicle level. Define, maintain and execute accurate test plans to cover all the aspects of the different features developed on site (Audio, Camera applications, low power mode, .. ) Maintain up-to-date documentation of the test plans and associated results Support and coordinate between QA engineers and the development teams to ensure growing test coverage. Assess and support in debugging, working closely with software applications developers throughout the software development life cycle.

 

 

Requirements:

Master degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of recent experience working as QA Engineer on complex embedded systems validation. Experience working in Automotive – Infotainment validation Working knowledge on Android and Linux. Proven ability to define and execute accurate test plans to ensure good reproducibility. Programming skills with python and shell scripting would be appreciated. Experience working in an agile environments. Familiar with Jira, and software development lifecycle. Excellent documentation and organization skills Good communication, able to convey both detailed explanations and high-level status updates and know when each is appropriate. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work within a team environment.
