You Are:

The QA Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality of our web and mobile applications. They will work collaboratively with development, product, and operations teams, participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to production delivery.

 

The opportunity:

·       Hybrid: In office/remote

·       Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and mobile applications.

·       Participate in the definition of acceptance criteria and test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.

·       Implement and maintain automation frameworks using Serenity, Rest Assured, Selenium, Java, and Appium.

·       Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and propose solutions.

·       Collaborate closely with developers and technical leads to ensure product quality from the early stages.

·       Document test plans, cases, and results clearly and accurately.

·       Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA and automation processes.

·       Participate in technical meetings and presentations with clients and internal stakeholders.

 

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

 

What you need:

·       Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

·       2+ years of verifiable experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar position.

·       Technical Skills:

·       Experience with Serenity, REST Assured, Selenium, Java, and Appium.

·       Strong knowledge of designing and executing automated tests for web, APIs, and mobile.

·       Familiarity with version control (Git) and continuous integration tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, or others).

·       Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

·       Soft Skills:

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·       Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary and geographically distributed teams.

·       Analytical thinking and attention to detail.

·       Proactive in identifying and resolving quality issues.

·       Languages:

·       Intermediate English (reading and technical comprehension). Not essential, but desirable.
