Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer in support of our enterprise telecommunications and mass media client based in Greenwood Village, CO. Summary: As a QA Automation Engineer, you'll work on a mix of manual and automation testing, with a heavy focus on backend/API testing (not UI). You will start with manual testing in integration, shift to automation, and rotate as needed. The ideal candidate is flexible, self-driven, and enjoys deep problem-solving-especially in complex API environments. Responsibilities: * Perform both manual and automated testing at the backend/API level * Own testing for active integration projects-identifying, debugging, and resolving issues * Rotate between manual and automation testing as project needs shift * Collaborate closely with development teams to isolate defects and improve quality * Build and maintain automation scripts and frameworks as part of the larger QA process * Track work and test results using JIRA
