About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with deep expertise in API and web automation testing. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who can build and maintain robust test automation frameworks, particularly using Playwright, and who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our web applications and backend services by creating comprehensive, scalable, and maintainable automated test suites.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and enhance automated testing frameworks using Playwright.
Design and implement automated API tests using JavaScript/TypeScript.
Test RESTful APIs using Postman, including setting up environments, writing test cases, and leveraging libraries and scripts.
Build test collections, utilize variables, and run tests using Collection Runner and command line.
Work with mock servers to simulate endpoints, mock features, and generate fake data.
Document API test collections and support publishing with custom themes.
Collaborate with development and product teams to identify test cases and ensure test coverage across UI and APIs.
Execute automated tests for websites and validate responsive behavior across browsers.
Apply knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to inspect, locate, and validate web elements.
Maintain test data, manage test scenario teardown, and support continuous integration pipelines.
Share and manage collections using Postman team tools and integrate with other QA/dev platforms.
Requirements
Must-Have Experience:
5+ years in automated API testing.
3+ years using Playwright for test automation.
Proficient in JavaScript or TypeScript.
Strong experience with Postman, including:
Authentication methods, preset headers, and environments.
Pre-request scripts and test scripting.
Collection creation, refactoring, test execution, and mock server setup.
Data file handling and scenario management.
Generating and syncing requests, using Postman utilities.
Publishing and documenting collections.
Strong Knowledge of:
Web testing automation (including responsive and cross-browser testing).
Core web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
RESTful APIs and HTTP protocols.
Software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Nice-to-Have:
Experience with Cypress.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating test automation into deployment workflows.

Pay Range:
