QA Analyst II

What does a QA Analyst do at Hogarth?

The QA Analyst plays a key role in ensuring quality and consistency across a wide range of deliverables, from websites to banners and apps. They are responsible for planning and running tests based on technical specifications, identifying issues, and verifying alignment with client expectations. They will collaborate closely with project managers and developers to meet deadlines while maintaining a high standard of delivery. With strong attention to detail and knowledge of accessibility standards, they act as quality advocates in every stage of production.

Reporting lines and key stakeholders

This role reports to the QA Coordinator (Brazil).
You will work closely with Web & Apps, Campaign, and Automation teams.

The QA Coordinator sits on the local QA leadership team, covering our Brazil office operations. The QA Coordinator is accountable for all of the QA team members based in this region.

Key areas of responsibility

Identify procedures and scenarios for quality control of products and services

Plan, design, and implement test plans

Run checks on finished and in-development works to ensure alignment with client specifications

Ensure the final product meets requirements and end-user expectations

Execute tests on web applications, animated/static banners, apps, and emails

Receive and organize tasks via Jira and Project Managers

Report bugs, risks, and issues in a structured manner

Requirements Technical Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Portuguese

Experience in web & app testing

Experience Smoke Tests, End-2-End Tests

Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 guidelines

Understanding of programming languages (JavaScript, C#, Python)

Familiarity with QA frameworks and tools (e.g. BrowserStack, Cypress, Percy)

Experience designing test cases
